Personal stress management succeeds through understanding you ...

Personal stress management can help YOU understand stress and change your behaviour and thus experience less stress. Who-ever you are this site provides a wealth of information on stress relief, tips to reduce stress and techniques to manage stress in different ways.

Stress relief designed to be good value, in the reach of many, approachable, practical and achievable.

Stress is our 'mind-body' telling us things are not right and are out of balance. You need to listen and understand and act to reduce/ relieve the stress you experience.

Whilst an appropriate level of pressure in our lives promotes well-being and fulfilment, stress is an alarm call that the pressure has got too intense/ prolonged.

Personal stress management provides ways to reduce stress both in the short and long-term through understanding of the biology and effects of stress.

Realising that whilst stress reduction is important it is vital to understand what you get stressed about, to learn the symptoms that you display and how to change your behaviour to become more stress proof and flexible in your everyday life at work or home.

Behavioural change is long-lasting change improving your response to and ability to cope with previously stressful situations.

Remember some stress reduction programmes just focus on lessening your exposure to things that stress you, or managing the symptoms of stress. Whilst of some short-term use these rarely bring long-term benefit.

The pressures of life are ever present, but much of the stress we each feel is self inflicted due to our own reactions, behaviour, thoughts and activities. That realisation is the start of the journey to a calmer more able you.

Stress reduction is important at work, when driving, with other people, with your kids, at home, throughout life to enable each of us to function well despite the pressures of modern living; mortgages, higher prices, harder work, more demands on our time ...

Through my own experience, learnings and practice both personally and as a stress management coach I have seen the value of adjusting behaviour, beliefs, priorities, thought processes and personal perceptions. These changes bring a calmer, fun loving, higher performing, coping personality able to enjoy the pressures of life and experience less stress.

I hope through exploring this site and the most important person (YOU) and by implementing appropriate stress management techniques you too can reduce stress, perform better and lead a happier life ...
